Admission Process

The Jain Education Society (JES), Mumbai, founded in 1943 by Shri Chimanbhai Chakubhai Shah and Shri Durlabhjibhai Khetani, aimed to support bright students from Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra in pursuing higher education. JES provided hostel accommodation, scholarships, and financial assistance, benefiting approximately 4,000 students.

Admission Process and Criteria

  • Sthanakvasi Jain students are eligible to apply for admission to the institution.
  • The student who has passed the S.S.C. or H.S.C. examination is eligible for admission.
  • Fees are as under, (Only Boarding Charges).
Term Full Paying General Deposit (Refundable)
Half Term ₹25,000/- + ₹3000 GST ₹5,000/-
Full Term ₹50,000/- + ₹6000 GST ₹5,000/-
  • The General Deposit will be refundable once the student leaves the Vidyalaya. If not claimed within 3 years, the same will be forfeited.
  • Half-free and full-freeship scholarship students will have to sign an undertaking for the repayment of the loan for full freeship and half freeship per year as may be decided from time to time
  • For payment of Vidyalaya fees and general deposit, cheque should be drawn in favour of "The Jain Education Society".
  • Cash payment will not be accepted. Fees also can be paid through NEFT under The Jain Education Society, Bank of India Wadala (West) Branch Mumbai - 400031.
  • S/B A/c No.005210100005579 IFSC code BKID0000052 However payment slip must be submitted to Office.
  • Old student will have to apply every year latest by 31st May to get the fresh admission. There is no automatic renewal of admission for the next year. Student whose admission is cancelled, wil have to leave the Vidyalaya immediately. Student shall vacate the Vidyalaya within 3 days once the examination is over. No extention will be granted.
