About JES Trust

The Jain Education Society (JES), Mumbai, founded in 1943 by prominent Jain businessmen and professionals like Shri Chimanbhai Chakubhai Shah and Shri Durlabhijibhai Khetani, aimed to provide hostel accommodation and financial assistance to bright Jain students from Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra pursuing higher education in various fields. Over the past 78 years, JES has supported over 4,000 students with quality hostel facilities and a secure environment. It also operated a Gujarati Medium School in Mumbai for over 30 years, which closed due to declining interest. Currently, JES runs a school for grades 1 to 12 with around 2,500 students annually in Rajkot, Gujarat.
